Just Brilliant, Inc. — Cancellation & Refund Policy

Overview
This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for every Just Brilliant Inc. service. By completing a purchase or paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.
We prepare for every engagement in advance, including reviewing any intake documents you submit. Our time is reserved for you once you book, and this policy is designed to be fair to both of us.
Administrative Fee
A $10 administrative fee is deducted only when a customer is otherwise eligible for a full refund. This fee helps cover payment-processing costs and refund administration. No $10 administrative fee is deducted from a 50% refund or any other partial refund.
The administrative fee does not apply if Just Brilliant Inc. cancels or is unable to deliver a scheduled service, or where applicable law requires a refund without deduction.
Strategy Sessions
Strategy Sessions include Clarification Calls (also called Clarity Calls) and Deep Dives. Both are paid in full at booking and are governed by the Strategy Session terms below, not the deposit-based engagement terms.

A rescheduled session must take place within 30 calendar days of the original scheduled session date. A session may be rescheduled only once. Cancellation or rescheduling notice is calculated from the scheduled start time.
Diagnostic Calls
The $25 Diagnostic Call is non-refundable. You may reschedule it once with at least 24 hours' notice, and the rescheduled call must take place within 30 days of the original date. A missed call, or a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, is forfeited.
If you book further work, the Diagnostic Call fee is credited toward it when that work is booked within 30 days of the call.
Workshops
Workshops, including Brilliant Foundation, are paid in full at registration. Seats are limited, so a seat released close to the start date usually cannot be filled.

Workshop recordings and materials, if provided, are for your personal use only and are not a substitute for attendance.
Deposit-Based Engagements
This section covers the Brilliant Business 10-Day Fix, Build Studio, and any other engagement that begins with a deposit. Deep Dive Strategy Sessions are excluded and instead follow the Strategy Session provisions above.
- The deposit is non-refundable. It reserves your start date and a limited monthly client slot, and it covers the review and preparation we begin once you are accepted.
- Rescheduling your start date is allowed once with at least 7 days' notice. The new start date must fall within 30 days of the original.
- If you cancel after work begins, you are responsible for the work completed through the cancellation date. Any amount you have paid beyond that will be refunded without a $10 administrative fee because it is a partial refund. If the refund is of the entire amount paid and otherwise qualifies as a full customer-requested refund, the administrative fee rule above applies, unless prohibited by law.
- Remaining balances are due as stated in your engagement agreement or invoice. Work may pause if a payment is late.
Our services provide strategy, guidance, and deliverables. Because results depend on implementation and on factors outside our control, refunds are not issued based on outcomes.
Rescheduling, Late Arrivals, and Credits
- Late arrivals: Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session is shortened and the full fee still applies. After 15 minutes without contact, the session is treated as a no-show.
- Rescheduling deadlines: Strategy Sessions and Diagnostic Calls must occur within 30 calendar days after the original scheduled appointment date. Deposit-based start-date changes must fall within 30 calendar days of the original start date. Credits: The Diagnostic Call credit is available for work booked within 30 calendar days after the completed call. Other credits, if offered, are governed by their stated terms. Unused credits expire at the applicable deadline.
- Credits are not transferable to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If We Cancel
If Just Brilliant Inc. cancels or cannot deliver a scheduled service, you may choose a new date or a 100% refund of amounts paid for that service, without an administrative-fee deduction, subject to applicable law.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
Email hello@justbrilliantinc.com with your name, the service, and your booked date. Your notice period is measured from the time we receive your email.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to post the refund.
Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Nothing in this policy restricts your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer or exercise rights available under applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The policy in effect when you made your purchase applies to that purchase, except as otherwise required by law. If an individually executed agreement provides conflicting terms for a covered engagement, that agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
